Engine
The engine was a Air cooled cooled Four stroke, single cylinder, SOHC, 2 valve. The engine featured a 7.0:1 compression ratio.
Chassis
It came with a 2.75- 19 front tire and a 2.75- 19 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 160mm Drum in the front and a 140mm Drum in the rear. The front suspension was a Hydraulic telescopic forks while the rear was equipped with a swingarm with hydraulic shocks. The 175 Sport CS75 was fitted with a 14 Liters / 3.7 US gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 110 kg / 242 lbs. The wheelbase was 1280 mm / 50.3 in long.

MV Agusta 175 Sport CS 75
The Sport version of MV Agustas first 4 stroke was particularly well accepted thanks to its sporty riding position, lowered handlebar and long seat, it was a dream for many enthusiasts. At an affordable price this model was a good basis for competition use. The 1954 version had a particular gas tank design that extended laterally, its design was similar to a disco volante (flying saucer). The 1955 and 1956 models had a different gas tank design.
