The KTM 350 SX-F was a single cylinder, four-stroke cross / motocross motorcycle produced between 2011 and 2019.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 88.0mm bore x 57.5mm stroke result in a displacement of just 349.7 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 14.0:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain. Power was moderated via the css-multidisc clutch in oil bath/hydraulically activated.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 80/100-21 front tire and a 110/90-19 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a wp-usd, aer 48, ø 48 mm while the rear was equiped with a wp shock absorber with linkage. The 350 SX-F was fitted with a 1.85 Gallon (7.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 219.36 pounds (99.5 Kg). The wheelbase was 58.46 inches (1485 mm) long.

2017 KTM 350 SX-F[edit | edit source]
The main target for the KTM engineers when developing the SX models was a massive weight reduction compared to the previous generation. The result: the current SX-F models are the slimmest, lightest bikes in the competition, even though the 4-strokes are equipped with an electric starter as a standard feature, while the competition still needs to be kick started.
