The Honda XR 650 Africa Twin was a Liquid cooled four stroke, longitudinal 52 degrees V-twin, SOHC, 3 valve per cylinder Enduro motorcycle produced by Honda in 1988. Claimed horsepower was 56.99 HP (42.5 KW) @ 8000 RPM.

A 78.7mm bore x 78.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 647.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 5 Speed transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 90/90-21 front tire and a 130/80-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single 296mm disc in the front and a Single 210mm disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic air assisted forks while the rear was equipped with a Pro-link, rebound damping adjustment.

The liquid cooled four stroke, longitudinal 52 degrees V-twin, SOHC, 3 valve per cylinder engine install on the HONDA XR 650 Africa Twin motorcycle, which was first manufactured in 1988, was able to develop 57 horsepower at 8000 rpm.
