The Simson 425 T was a single cylinder, four-stroke standard produced by Simson between 1955 and 1960. It could reach a top speed of 62 mph (100 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 11.8 HP (8.8 KW) @ 5500 RPM.

The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 68.0mm bore x 68.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 247.0 cubic centimeters.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 3.25-19 front tire and a 3.25-19 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via expanding brake (drum brake) in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The 425 T was fitted with a 3.17 Gallon (12.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 308.65 pounds (140.0 Kg).
