The Simson SR1 was a Single Cylinder, 2 Stroke Classic motorcycle produced by Simson in 1955. Claimed horsepower was 1.48 HP (1.1 KW) @ 5000 RPM.

The bike has a 2 Speed transmission.

1955 - 1957 Simson SR1[edit | edit source]

Manufactured from 1955 to 1957, it was replaced by the SR2 (1957-1959), which in turn was replaced by the SR2E produced between 1960-1964. The SR1 could reach a top speed of 45 km/h.
