The engine was a Air cooled, cooled Four stroke, transverse four cylinder, DOHC, 4 valves per cylinder.. The engine featured a 9.3:1 compression ratio.

ChassisEdit
It came with a 110/90 H16 front tire and a 130/90 H16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2x 276mm disc 2 piston caliper in the front and a 180mm Drum in the rear. The front suspension was a 37mm Air assisted forks while the rear was equipped with a Dual shocks. The CB750SC Nighthawk was fitted with a 16 Liters / US 4.2 gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 213 lg / 466 lbs. The wheelbase was 1544 mm / 60.8 in long.

The CB750SC'82 Nighthawk 750 was sold in 1982 and was available in one of two colors: Candy Flair Blue or Cosmo Black Metallic. The tank and side cover stripe were chrome with red pinstripes. The speedometer had a 85 mph (135 kph) limit. The engine was a 749cc DOHC 4-valve inline four cylinder linked to a 5-speed transmission and a chain drive.

The CB750SC'83 Nighthawk 750 was sold in 1983 and was available in one of two colors: Black or Candy Wineberry Red. The stripe on the black bike was gray with white pinstripes; but on the red bike the stripe was black with white pinstripes. The speedometer had a 150 mph (240 kph) limit.
