Engine

The engine was a Air cooled cooled Four stroke, single cylinder, pushrod, 2 valve. The engine featured a 6.0:1 compression ratio.

Drive

Power was moderated via the Wet multiple plate clutch.

Chassis

It came with a 3.00-19 front tire and a 3.00-19 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 180mm Drum in the front and a 180mm Drum in the rear. The front suspension was a tTlescopic mechanical fork while the rear was equipped with a Plunger-box. The 250 Turismo was fitted with a 18 Litres / 4.7 US gal fuel tank. The wheelbase was 1390 mm / 51.1 in long.

The displacement may come as a surprise as in the post-war era it was certainly large.

The quarter-litre category was rather popular abroad (such as in England), but in Italy it was rare.


The front suspension was a cutting-edge telescopic fork.

The rear suspension was placed further back and was still a plunger-box type. The engine was typical for the time, the cylinder and head were made of cast iron. It was sold in a single colour, an elegant metallic silver Source
