The KTM 450 SX was a single cylinder, four-stroke atv produced between 2000 and 2012.

Engine

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 97.0mm bore x 60.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 510.4 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 11.0:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

Drive

The bike has a 5-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc clutch, operated hydraulically.

Chassis

It came with a 20/7-10 front tire and a 20/11-9 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. floating wave discs, 4-piston fixed caliper in the front and a single disc. single piston floating caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a ohlins fully adjustable, twin chromoly a-arms while the rear was equiped with a ohlins pds mono-shock, fully adjustable, chromoly swingarm. The 450 SX was fitted with a 2.72 Gallon (10.30 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 363.76 pounds (165.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 50.39 inches (1280 mm) long.
