Engine
The engine was a air cooled air-cooled, two-stroke, in-line two cylinder. A 53.3mm bore x 53.3mm stroke result in a displacement of just 247.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive
The bike has a 4-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis
It came with a 3.25 x 16 front tire and a 3.25 x 16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 180mm drum in the front and a 180mm drum in the rear. The front suspension was a twin swinging leading link forks with shock absorber and steering damper while the rear was equiped with a adjustable plunger shock absorbers. 1958 Adler ISDT
The 1958 MY Adler ISDT is a reliable, small-bore machine, suitable for mundane tasks such as daily commuting to and from work. It sports an air-cooled, two-stroke, 247cc, in-line two cylinder powerhouse paired to a four-speed manual transmission, and can reach a maximum power output of 18 horsepower at 5600 rpm.
