The Polaris Sportsman 400 HO was a single cylinder, four-stroke standard produced by Polaris between 2010 and 2014.

Engine

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive

The bike has a automatic transmission.

Chassis

It came with a 25/8-12 front tire and a 25/10-12 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a macpherson strut with 8.2 in (20.8 cm) travel while the rear was equipped with a dual a-arm, irs 9.5 in (24.1 cm) travel.
