The Sherco SM510i Black Panther was a single cylinder, four-stroke standard produced by Sherco between 2009 and 2012.

Engine

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 95.0mm bore x 72.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 510.4 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the hydraulic, multidisc in oil bath.

Chassis

It came with a 3.50-17 front tire and a 5.00-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. bremo in the front and a single disc. bremo in the rear. The front suspension was a paioli telescopic fork, ø46 mm tubes rebound and compression adjustable while the rear was equipped with a sachs progressive, multiadjustable rear shock utilizing a linkage and rod system. The SM510i Black Panther was fitted with a 1.98 Gallon (7.50 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 240.3 pounds (109.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 58.46 inches (1485 mm) long.
