The engine was a liquid cooled twin, four-stroke. A 88.0mm bore x 65.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 799.0 cubic centimeters.
DriveEdit
The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the pasc™ antihopping clutch, mechanically operated.
ChassisEdit
Stopping was achieved via single disc. abs in the front and a single disc. abs in the rear. The front suspension was a wp upside-down while the rear was equipped with a wp shock absorber with pro-lever linkage. The 790 Duke was fitted with a 3.7 Gallon (14.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 372.58 pounds (169.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 58.07 inches (1475 mm) long.
