The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

It came with a 21/7-10 front tire and a 20/10-9 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a dual a-arm with 7 in (17.8 cm) travel while the rear was equipped with a mono-shock swingarm with 6.5 in (16.5 cm) travel. The Phoenix 200 was fitted with a 2.5 Gallon (9.46 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 395.07 pounds (179.2 Kg). The wheelbase was 45.0 inches (1143 mm) long.
2004 Polaris Phoenix 200[edit | edit source]
The 2004 Phoenix 200 is engineered by Polaris, built by Aeon in Taiwan. It is powered by an air-cooled 196 cc 4-stroke motor attached to a scaled-down version of Polaris's CVT transmission with forward, neutral and reverse. Gear selection is by a straight-throw lever that should be easy to use but did not provide for positive shifts. Occasionally you were required to rock the machine to get the transmission engaged.
