The AJS Digita 50 is a single cylinder, four-stroke scooter motorcycle produced between 2014 and 2015. It could reach a top speed of 30 mph (48 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 2.01 HP (1.5 KW) @ 7500 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 39.0mm bore x 41.5mm stroke result in a displacement of just 49.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a automatic transmission. The final drive was via belt. Power was moderated via the coil cdi.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 3.50-10 front tire and a 3.50-10 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a expanding [[brake]] (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equiped with a swing arm. The Digita 50 is fitted with a 1.45 Gallon (5.50 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighs just 171.96 pounds (78.0 Kg). The wheelbase is 48.03 inches (1220 mm) long.

2015 AJS Digita 50[edit | edit source]
The 2015 MY AJS Digita 50 is an entry-level scooter that can be ridden by even the youngest among riders. It sports an air-cooled, four-stroke, 49cc, single cylinder powerhouse, paired to a continuously variable transmission (CVT), and can produce a claimed 5 horsepower at 7500 rpm.
The key features for this small-bore two-wheeler would be the low seat height, a lockable under-seat storage compartment, a rear luggage rack that has been pre-drilled for a trunk, a dual seat, passenger grab rails, and a modern graphic scheme coupled to a blacked-out lower side.
