The AJS E95 Porcupine was a air-cooled, twin cylinder, aluminum alloy, DOHC Classic motorcycle produced by AJS in 1954. Claimed horsepower was 54.98 HP (41.0 KW) @ 7600 RPM.

A 68.6mm bore x 68.6mm stroke result in a displacement of just 497.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 4-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 3.0 x 19 front tire and a 3.5 x 19 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via drum in the front and a drum in the rear. The front suspension was a AMC telescopic fork while the rear was equiped with a dual AMC shocks. The E95 Porcupine was fitted with a 1.32 Gallon (5.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 56.5 inches (1435 mm) long.

The 1953 E95 Porcupine sports an air-cooled, 497cc, twin cylinder engine made out of aluminum alloy, mated to a four-speed manual transmission, and can produce a claimed 55 horsepower at 7600 rpm. It also comes standard with an AMC hydraulic telescopic fork, dual AMC "Jam-pot" shocks as a rear suspension, a drum braking system, laced wheels, a 19-liter (5-gallon) fuel tank, a dual seat, a small windscreen, and twin GP carburetors.
