The AJS Model 8 350 is a single cylinder, four-stroke sport motorcycle produced between 1960 and 1963. Claimed horsepower was 20.52 HP (15.3 KW) @ 6250 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 72.0mm bore x 82.5mm stroke result in a displacement of just 348.0 cubic centimeters. The engine features a 7.5:1 [[compression ratio]].

Drive[edit | edit source]

The final drive was via chain. Power was moderated via the wet multi plate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 3.25-18 front tire and a 3.25-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via expanding brake (drum brake) in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic while the rear was equipped with a swingarm-two shocks. The Model 8 350 is fitted with a 3.3 Gallon (12.50 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighs just 337.31 pounds (153.0 Kg). The wheelbase is 52.95 inches (1345 mm) long.
