The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 56.5mm bore x 49.5mm stroke result in a displacement of just 124.9 cubic centimeters.

The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/80-14 front tire and a 120/80-14 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a single shock. The My125i was fitted with a 1.59 Gallon (6.00 Liters) fuel tank.
