Aprilia AF 125 Sintesi sport 90

The chassis is an evolution very advanced compared to AF1 Project 108: a beautiful diagonal twin spar frame in aluminum is much stiffer and lighter than the old frame AF1 Project 108. The front fork upside down by well-38mm is completely new and is not adjustable: its presence has led to a change of plates, always with elegant design and a bump for the ignition lock. The rear swingarm sheet steel boxes and valid progressive rear suspension (always Sebach not adjustable) ODA remain the same view on Project 108.

The brakes at the front now take a new and very beautiful floating 320mm disc (the first case among 125 cc) and with a caliper (Brembo) four differential diameter pistons; remains valid at the rear 240mm disc served as twin piston caliper the previous AF1. The beautiful new 17 "wheels, Pirelli tires Invalid host the new MT 79 respectively in sizes 100/80-17 front and 130/70-17 rear.

The dry weight down to 131kg, compared with 134kg detected on AF1 Replica.

Engine

The engine is the new Rotax 123, or an engine designed from scratch than its predecessor Rotax 127. Here are the key innovation compared to the engine mounted on AF1 Replica:

  • New aluminum cylinder barrel treated with Gilnisil (iron rod on AF1)
  • New head into two pieces to improve the cooling
  • Race increased by 0.5 mm (dimensions 54x54, 54x54 5 instead of the Retort)

Annual report fell to 15:1 compression (15,5:1 the Retort)

  • Balancer (absent on the Rotax 127)
  • Valves RAVE 2, always pneumatically
  • Carburetor Dell'Orto PHBH 28 RD oval section
  • Air Box with dynamic air intake mounted on the right side of the bike.
  • Submission primary slightly longer, the last two marches and final report to make better use of shorter extension gifts

With the changes, the engine detects a summary of the maximum power to the wheel of 28.66cv at 10,500 rpm, a slight deterioration in terms of absolute power than the Rotax 127 mounted on AF1 Replica (29.24 hp at 10250giri), but all dispensing much more substantial benefit to low and medium revs and therefore more space, also complicates the relationship again. Synthesis of photo gifts check it exceptional in the tests taken in the 400 meters to 50km / h, time is of 19.352 seconds with an output rate of no less than 96.26 km / h instead of 21.115 seconds and 82.80 km / h detected on AF1 Replica. Also improves the speed: 163.9 km / h instead of 160.5 km / h recorded on AF1 Replica.
