The 2003 MY Aprilia RSV Mille R Nera is a special edition machine that mainly addresses those riders who prefer a more aggressive, dark look to their sportbike. At its heart lies a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 998cc, V-Twin powerplant paired to a six-speed manual transmission and can produce a claimed 141 horsepower and 107 Nm of torque.

This machine comes standard with an Ohlins Racing suspension package, composed of a titanium-nitride coated upside-down fork and an adjustable rear shock absorber with Aprilia Progressive System, a black paint scheme, an aerodynamic full-fairing with a small windscreen, and a Brembo Gold braking system with dual front discs and a single unit in the rear.
