The engine was a [[liquid cooled]] v2, four-stroke. A 76.0mm [[bore]] x 49.5mm [[stroke]] result in a [[displacement]] of just 452.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 12.5:1 [[compression ratio]]. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

The front suspension was a  48 mm upside down fork with two adjustments. while the rear was equipped with a aluminium swingarm with cast body and hydroformed members.
