Engine
The engine was a liquid cooled v2, four-stroke. A 76.0mm bore x 49.5mm stroke result in a displacement of just 452.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 12.5:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).
Drive
The bike has a 5-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain. Power was moderated via the cable operated multi-plate wet clutch..
Chassis
It came with a 90/90-18 front tire and a 140/80-21 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. floating disc in stainless steel with aluminium flange in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a 48 mm upside down fork with two adjustments. while the rear was equiped with a aluminium swingarm with cast body and hydroformed members. hydraulic monoshock with compression and rebound adjustment.. The RXV 4.5 was fitted with a 2.06 Gallon (7.80 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 58.86 inches (1495 mm) long.
