The Aprilia Scarabeo 400 was a single cylinder, four-stroke standard produced by Aprilia between 2008 and 2010. It could reach a top speed of 87 mph (140 km/h). Max torque was 26.55 ft/lbs (36.0 Nm) @ 5500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 33.26 HP (24.8 KW) @ 7500 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 85.8mm bore x 69.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 399.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).
