The Aprilia Tuono V4R APRC was a 65° V-4 cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid cooled, DOHC, 4 valves Naked motorcycle produced by Aprilia in 2012. Max torque was 81.87 ft/lbs (111.0 Nm) @ 9000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 166.96 HP (124.5 KW) @ 11500 RPM.

Engine

A 78.7mm bore x 78.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 999.6 cubic centimeters.

Drive

The bike has a Straight cut gears and integrated flexible coupling transmission. Power was moderated via the Multiplate wet clutch with mechanical slipper system.

Chassis

It came with a 120/70 ZR 17 front tire and a 190/55 ZR 17 (alternative: 190/50 ZR 17; 200/55 ZR 17) rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Dual 320 mm floating stainless steel discs in the front and a 220-mm diameter disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Sachs upside down front fork with 43 mm stanchions while the rear was equipped with a Double braced aluminium swingarm. The wheelbase was 56.89 inches (1445 mm) long.

The 2011 Aprilia Tuono V4R APRC brings the WSBK-grade Performance Rider Control system to the street level, making the naked version of the RSV4 even more fierce. Riders are now in full control of traction, wheelie and launch, also benefiting from the quickshift gearbox, and being offered a wide palette of settings which should give them a solid advantage on the track and street.

A true superbike with a more upright position and high handlebars, the 2011 Tuono V4R APRC. Boasting immense power and peak torque at an usable 9500 rpm, the bike blends in the sporty character and a more comfort-oriented design for enhanced ergonomics and more fun.
