The BMW F800GT was a twin, four-stroke Sport touring motorcycle produced by BMW between 2013 and 2018. It could reach a top speed of 124 mph (200 km/h). Max torque was 63.43 ft/lbs (86.0 Nm) @ 5800 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 88.11 HP (65.7 KW) @ 8000 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a liquid cooled twin, four-stroke. A 82.0mm bore x 75.6mm stroke result in a displacement of just 798.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the multiple-disc clutch in oil bath, mechanically operated.

Chassis

It came with a 120/70-zr17 front tire and a 180/55-zr17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. abs. floating discs. four-piston calipers. in the front and a single disc. abs. floating disc. single-piston caliper. in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork, 43 mm while the rear was equipped with a die-cast aluminum single-sided swing-arm with rear-wheel axle adjustable via tappet, central spring strut, spring pre-load hydraulically and steplessly adjustable via handwheel, adjustable rebound damping. The F800GT was fitted with a 3.96 Gallon (15.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 454.15 pounds (206.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 59.61 inches (1514 mm) long.

The 2013 MY F 800 GT is a new addition to the F family from the House of Munich and it has been designed as a mid-sized alternative to the bulky touring machines that are usually available on the market. The German engineers have taken a F 800 R, and added a full fairing with a sport windscreen, a new selector switch generation, new footrests and footrest position, a tapered, decoupled aluminum handlebar, new, lighter wheels, and a newly-designed ABS as standard. In addition, it comes with a dual seat, pillion grab-rails, and a fuel tank located under the seat, for a lower center of gravity.
