The 2009 MY BMW F 800 R is a new model in the F series and has been designed with performance in mind. At its heart lies a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 798cc, twin cylinder engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission, and can produce 87 horsepower and 86 Nm of torque. Unlike its F siblings, its fuel tank has been mounted under the seat, for a lower center of gravity, and thus, a more maneuverable machine. Also, its new frame concept features a lighter build, helping this machine tip the scale at only 182 kg, making it one of the lightest mid-sized naked two-wheelers available on the market.

The 2010 MY BMW F 800 R is the sportiest machine in the F family, and has, at its heart, a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 798cc, twin cylinder powerhouse that produces 87 horsepower and 86 Nm of torque. It was designed as a sporty, more lightweight alternative to the big-bore nakeds, perfect for urban jungle exploring, as well as for weekend leisure trips along the country side. In addition, if properly fitted with the right accessories, it can be used even as a gritty, small-sized touring machine, even two-up. It is available for purchase in three paint finishes, White Aluminum Metallic, Flame Orange and Alpine White/Black Silk.
