The BMW G 450 X was a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, single cylinder, DOHC, 4 valves per cylinder Enduro motorcycle produced by BMW between 2008 and 2011. It could reach a top speed of 90 mph (145 km/h). Max torque was 31.72 ft/lbs (43.0 Nm) @ 6500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 41.04 HP (30.6 KW) @ 7000 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a liquid cooled liquid-cooled, four-stroke, single cylinder, DOHC, 4 valves per cylinder. A 99.1mm bore x 99.1mm stroke result in a displacement of just 449.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive

The bike has a 5-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.

Chassis

It came with a 90/90-21 front tire and a 140/80-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single 260 mm disc, 2-piston floating caliper in the front and a single 220 mm disc, 1-piston floating caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 45 mm upside-down forks while the rear was equipped with a direct-mounted Ohlins shock. The G 450 X was fitted with a 2.11 Gallon (8.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 244.71 pounds (111.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 58.11 inches (1476 mm) long.

At its heart lies a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 449cc, single cylinder lump, mated to a five-speed manual transmission, which produces 41 horsepower and 43 Nm of torque. Superior off-road abilities are ensured by the 45 mm upside-down forks, as well as the high-end, direct-mounted Ohlins Shock. A dry weight of only 111 kg mean it will eat the dirt, no matter how treacherous the track is.

At its heart lies a newly-developed, liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 449cc, single cylinder lump, mated to a six-speed manual transmission, and can produce 41 horsepower and 43 Nm of torque.

It has been especially developed for enduro professional competitions, the German engineers choosing a more minimalist concept, with no unnecessary details. Improved off-road capabilities are ensured by the high-end suspension system, composed of a 45 mm UPSD fork and a Ohllins rear shock.

It has been designed from the ground-up to offer as much power as possible, but still keep a lightweight and agile design. At its heart lies a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 449cc single cylinder lump, mated to a five-speed manual transmission, and it can produce 41 horsepower and 43 Nm of torque.

It tips the scale at only 111 kg, and it features high-end Ohlins suspension components, which seriously increase its off-roading abilities, as well as making it as comfortable as possible for the rider. Lightweight, lace-spoked wheels also improve its enduro capabilities.

The 2011 MY BMW G 450 X is the smallest displacement production bike from the House of Munich, but it compensates with great engineering and lots of kick, to get you across the most treacherous dirt or gravel tracks. At its heart lies a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 449cc, single cylinder lump, mated to a five-speed manual transmission, and can produce 41 horsepower and 43 Nm of torque, or, an optional 52 horsepower and 44 Nm of torque for the non-homologated for road use version. It tips the scale at only 111 kg, and boasts a 45 mm UPSD fork and a direct mounted Ohlins shock rear suspension which ensures increased off-road capabilities, as well as a comfortable ride.
