The engine was a liquid cooled in-line four, four-stroke. A 71.1mm bore x 71.1mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1092.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the dry, single plate.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70 ZR17 front tire and a 160/60 ZR18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a 43mm telescopic fork with hydraulic shock absorber while the rear was equipped with a Monolever. The K1100RS was fitted with a 5.81 Gallon (22.00 Liters) fuel tank.
