The BMW K1300R was a in-line four, four-stroke Naked motorcycle produced by BMW between 2009 and 2015. It could reach a top speed of 124 mph (200 km/h). Max torque was 103.26 ft/lbs (140.0 Nm) @ 8250 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 169.37 HP (126.3 KW) @ 9250 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled in-line four, four-stroke. A 80.0mm bore x 64.3mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1293.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the multiple-disc clutch in oil bath, hydraulically operated.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70-zr17 front tire and a 180/55-zr17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. abs. floating discs. four-piston calipers. in the front and a single disc. abs. floating disc. two-piston calipers. in the rear. The front suspension was a bmw motorrad duolever while the rear was equipped with a cast aluminum single-sided swing arm with bmw motorrad paralever. The K1300R was fitted with a 5.02 Gallon (19.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 478.4 pounds (217.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 62.4 inches (1585 mm) long.
