The BMW K1600GT was a in-line six, four-stroke Sport touring motorcycle produced by BMW between 2011 and 2019. It could reach a top speed of 124 mph (200 km/h). Max torque was 129.08 ft/lbs (175.0 Nm) @ 5520 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 156.63 HP (116.8 KW) @ 7750 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a liquid cooled in-line six, four-stroke. A 72.0mm bore x 67.5mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1649.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the multiple-disc clutch in oil bath.

Chassis

It came with a 120/70-zr17 front tire and a 190/55-zr17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. abs. four-piston calipers. in the front and a single disc. abs. two-piston calipers. in the rear. The front suspension was a bmw motorrad duolever while the rear was equipped with a bmw motorrad paralever. The K1600GT was fitted with a 7.0 Gallon (26.50 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 674.61 pounds (306.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 63.7 inches (1618 mm) long.

The 2011 MY BMW K 1600 GT has one of the biggest displacement to be found on a production Beemer. At its heart lies a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 1649cc, in-line six cylinder powerhouse paired to a six-speed manual transmission, and can produce an impressive 159 horsepower and a peak torque of 175 Nm. It features three selectable riding modes, Rain, Road or Dynamic, which are made possible thanks to standard technologies such as the E-Gas (ride-by-wire) and the Electronic Suspension Adjustment II (ESA II), and, as an optional, the Dynamic Traction Control. A new, "Adaptive Headlight" has been also mounted, and improve safety and visibility when riding at night. This sport tourer also comes with standard saddlebags, to increase its touring capabilities, without affecting the massive power output.
