The BMW R 100 T was a air-cooled, four-stroke, boxer two cylinder, 2 valves per cylinder Sport/Touring motorcycle produced by BMW between 1978 and 1980. It could reach a top speed of 116 mph (187 km/h). Max torque was 56.8 ft/lbs (77.0 Nm) @ 5500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 70.0 HP (52.2 KW) @ 7250 RPM.
Engine
The engine was a air cooled air-cooled, four-stroke, boxer two cylinder, 2 valves per cylinder. A 94.0mm bore x 94.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 980.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a overhead valves (ohv).
Drive
The bike has a 5-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the dry, single plate, diaphragm spring.
Chassis
It came with a 1.85 B19 front tire and a 2.75 C18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 260mm discs, 2-piston calipers in the front and a 260mm drum in the rear.
