The BMW R1200RT was a twin, four-stroke Touring motorcycle produced by BMW between 2006 and 2019. It could reach a top speed of 124 mph (200 km/h). Max torque was 92.2 ft/lbs (125.0 Nm) @ 6500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 122.3 HP (91.2 KW) @ 7750 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a liquid cooled twin, four-stroke. A 101.0mm bore x 73.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1170.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet eight-disc clutch with anti-hopping function, hydraulically operated.

Chassis

It came with a 120/70-zr17 front tire and a 180/55-zr17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. abs in the front and a single disc. abs in the rear. The front suspension was a bmw motorrad telelever while the rear was equipped with a bmw motorrad evo paralever. The R1200RT was fitted with a 6.6 Gallon (25.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 514.12 pounds (233.2 Kg). The wheelbase was 58.46 inches (1485 mm) long.
