Engine
The engine was a Air cooled cooled Four stroke, two cylinder horizontally opposed Boxer, pushrod operated 2 valves per cylinder.. The engine featured a 7.5:1 compression ratio.
Drive
Power was moderated via the Single plate, saucer spring, dry.
Chassis
It came with a 3.50 - S18 front tire and a 3.50 - S18 (sidecar 4 x 18) rear tire. Stopping was achieved via ∅200mm Drum in the front and a ∅200mm drum in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic hydraulic forks while the rear was equipped with a Long swinging arm with strut. The R 60/2 with Sidecar was fitted with a 17 L / 4.49 US gal fuel tank.
