The BSA A50 Royal Star was a twin, four-stroke standard produced by BSA between 1963 and 1970. It could reach a top speed of 90 mph (145 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 32.32 HP (24.1 KW) @ 6500 RPM.

The engine was a air cooled twin, four-stroke. A 65.5mm bore x 74.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 498.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a overhead valves (ohv).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 4-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multiplate.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 3.25-19 front tire and a 3.50-19 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via expanding brake in the front and a expanding brake in the rear. The front suspension was a hydralic telescopic forks while the rear was equipped with a twin shock. The A50 Royal Star was fitted with a 3.96 Gallon (15.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 54.76 inches (1391 mm) long.
