The A65 Lightning Clubman was in production for 12 months (mid 1964 to mid 1965) and produced a run of 200 bikes.

It had twin Amal monobloc carburettors, siamesed pipes (silencer on the right), rearset footrests, a close ratio gearbox and a reverse gearchange (so that gearchanges remained as for a forward facing gear lever)

The image shown is not a 'Clubman' on account of: normal position footrests, forward facing gear lever and the year (1966)
