The bike has a 4-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 3.25 x 19 front tire and a 4.00 x 18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via drum in the front and a drum in the rear. The front suspension was a hydraulic telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a dual shocks. The wheelbase was 52.99 inches (1346 mm) long.

The 1968 MY BSA B44 Victor Special has, at its heart, a four-stroke, air-cooled, 441cc, single cylinder engine paired to a four-speed manual transmission that can produce a claimed 28 horsepower at 6500 rpm.
