The engine was a Air/oil cooled cooled Four stroke, single cylinder, SOHC, 2-valves. The engine featured a 9.9:1 compression ratio.

Power was moderated via the Wet, multidisc.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
Stopping was achieved via Drum, 130 mm in the front and a Drum, 130 mm in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic fork, Ceriani while the rear was equipped with a Trailing arm, co-axial shock & coil sring. The Caliber 115 was fitted with a 14 L / 3.7 US gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 118 kg / 260 lbs. The wheelbase was 1245 mm / 49 in long.

major initiative towards the leadership in the executive bike segment and we are
confident to achieve the leadership in the overall motorcycle market in the near

The Caliber 115 offers the reliability that comes from
years of experience and company's deep understanding of the Indian rider and
Indian roads. The Caliber 115 is priced at an attractive Rs 40,215 (ex-showroom
Pune).
Styling A dazzling Optoprism headlamp with stylish fairing. The contoured 14-litre fuel tank with attractive decals and an aluminum die cast grab make up for the new looks of the bike. A sporty signature silencer with Kawasaki-etched protection shield accentuates the aesthetics of the bike. The attractive speedometer console has a sports watch look.
Performance
Designed to draw a line on the road, the meaty four-stroke, 111.6cc K-TEC engine offers an amazing mileage of 90 kmpl and awesome power of 9.5 bhp, the highest in its category. A unique optimum-riding indicator, for the first time in India, shows optimum speed for maximum mileage. The throttle responsive ignition control system (TRICS) ensures the K-TEC engine gives a good mileage at all times.
Comfort
The anti-slide seat of the new Caliber 115 will ensure that you remain in your position even when you hit the brakes suddenly. Hydrodynamic (HDS) Suspension provides comfort even on rough, bumpy, potholed roads. With rubber mounted handle bar, engine and the silencer the Caliber 115 is nothing short of noiseless.
Safety
The Caliber 115 comes with 130 mm drum brakes in front and rear wheels, giving it stronger braking. Wider front and rear Zapper tires ensure better road grip. Providing safety to the rider even when uncertainty is written large on the terrain. MFR indicators and tail lamp increase visibility at night. An Optoprism halogen headlamp makes streetlights redundant, even on the darkest of nights. Hi-beam flasher makes overtaking safe.
