The Bajaj Chetak was a single cylinder, two-stroke scooter produced in 2006. Max torque was 7.97 ft/lbs (10.8 Nm) @ 3500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 7.38 HP (5.5 KW) @ 5500 RPM.

The bike has a 4-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain. Power was moderated via the wet multidisc.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

Stopping was achieved via expanding brake (drum brake) in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The Chetak was fitted with a 1.59 Gallon (6.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 48.43 inches (1230 mm) long.
