OverviewEdit
Bakker Grizzly All-Road
The development of this wolf in disguise started though the
wish so combine the comfort of a all road motorcycle with the speed of a
supersport. After 900 hours of engineering and constructing the Bakker Grizzly
All-Round was a fact.
A comfortable touring motorcycle suitable to hit the dirt
once and a wile, but mainly to make long road trips. This globe trotter is able
to roam the world with passengers and luggage. The motorcycle developed based on
a reliable GXS-R 1000 engine, but can be equipped with a engine of your choice.
Like the Bakker tradition this bike is completely build to the wishes of the
individual customer.
The points to focus on for Nico Bakker at the development of the Grizzly
All-round was:
As light and compact as possible constructed motorcycle, to ensure an optimal handling. Sturdy enough to withstand a small crash. Sportive characteristics with accompanying power to handle on- as well as off-road conditions. A wide power and torque curve to show in the diverse applications of the bike a smooth driving behaviour. Comfortable driving position for two persons. Sufficient possibilities to store luggage for two persons, during long to extreme long trips. All parts used needs to be solid, reliable and well available in the market, this to be able to adequate solve eventual defects. Safe and supply sufficient protection for both driver and passenger against the elements. A 4-Cilinder engine, do distinguish it selves in the market. Motorcycles now a days available in the same segment as the Bakker Grizzly All-Round will find its way are usually equipped with a 2-cilinder engine, which this Grizzly will leave behind in the dust.
