The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, two-stroke. A 41.0mm bore x 37.4mm stroke result in a displacement of just 49.3 cubic centimeters.

It came with a 120/70-12 front tire and a 120/70-12 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear.
