The Benelli 500 LS was essentially a [[Moto Guzzi 500 GTS]] (since Benelli and [[Moto Guzzi]] collaborated for motorcycle business in 1974 to 1986), thus saving over 10kg over the Benelli Quattro. The Benelli 500 LS also came equipped with dual disc up front.
