The Benelli Tornado 650 S was a twin, four-stroke Naked motorcycle produced by Benelli between 1972 and 1976. It could reach a top speed of 109 mph (175 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 43.99 HP (32.8 KW) @ 6500 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a air cooled twin, four-stroke. A 84.0mm bore x 58.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 643.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a overhead valves (ohv).

Drive

The bike has a 5-speed transmission.

Chassis

It came with a 3.50-18 front tire and a 4.00-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via expanding brake in the front and a expanding brake in the rear. The front suspension was a Telehydraulic Forks while the rear was equipped with a Swinging Arm Forks. The Tornado 650 S was fitted with a 3.3 Gallon (12.50 Liters) fuel tank.

The Benelli Tornado 650 S is a classic naked road bike which is mostly known by the “more experienced” bikers, because it is a pretty old bike, as it was released in 1973 and kept in production for only three years. It was equipped with a four stroke, twin cylinder engine which is able to produce 52 horsepower and 7200rpm.
