The Beta Evo 300 SS (Super Smooth) was a single cylinder, 2-stroke, liquid-cooled Trial motorcycle produced by Beta between 2013 and 2014.

Engine[edit | edit source]

A 78.7mm bore x 78.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 299.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a Michelin Trial 21 front tire and a Michelin Trial 18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 185mm rotor with 4-piston caliper in the front and a 160mm rotor with twin-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 38mm Paioli while the rear was equipped with a single shock, aluminum bodied including linkage, adjustable dampening. The wheelbase was 51.42 inches (1306 mm) long.

2013 Beta Evo 300 SS (Super Smooth)[edit | edit source]

The 2013 MY Beta 300 Evo 300 SS (Super Smooth) is, at its core, an Evo 300, with the same two-stroke liquid-cooled, 299cc engine, but with a few enhancements, to further improve the bikes performance and for a more one-of-a-kind look.

Features that come standard with all SS models include, but are not limited to, a titanium head pipe for more grunt, surflex clutch plates for smoother gear shifts, a flywheel weight for leaner power pulses, special graphics and a Jitsie front number plate.

2014 Beta Evo 300 SS (Super Smooth)[edit | edit source]

The 2014 MY Beta Evo 300 SS (Super Smooth) sports the same two-stroke, liquid-cooled, 299cc engine and six-speed manual transmission as the base Evo 300.

The Tuscany House has installed some special features that were introduced with the SS. They include a titanium head pipe for more torque, an updated clutch setting for smoother engagement, and tweaked the flywheel weight to help out with the power pulses. The new Domino grips are larger in diameter and wider than stock, and are complemented by special graphics to further differentiate the SS version from the base model.

These improvements lead to a more comfortable, user-friendly and "meaner"-looking trial bike, one to suit the preferences of almost every trial rider out there.
