The bike has a Diamond endless-link Chain transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.

It came with a Avon MH90-21 56V COBRA AV71 front tire and a Avon 300/35VR18 (87V) COBRA AV72 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Performance Machine, 4-piston, Differential Bore in the front and a Performance Machine, 4-Piston, Standard Bore in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic, 41mm while the rear was equipped with a dual shocks. The wheelbase was 82.01 inches (2083 mm) long.

2016 Big Dog K9[edit | edit source]
This is the new bike from Big Dog. For 2016, K-9 has 2032cc engine, with a Jim`s 6-speed transmission. The new features a 300mm rear tire and a 39-degree stretch, capped with a sweeping steel one-piece tank. This chopper-style cruiser has a strong silhouette, bold, cutting-edge style, and a killer sound.
