A 94.0mm bore x 94.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 992.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the Dry, multi-plate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70-17 front tire and a 180/55-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Dual 320mm discs, 4-piston calipers, Brembo in the front and a Single 220mm disc, 2-piston caliper, Brembo in the rear. The front suspension was a 43mm Ohlins upside-down fork while the rear was equipped with a Ohlins adjustable mono-shock. The wheelbase was 54.21 inches (1377 mm) long.

The 2003 MY Bimota 666 L.E. is a limited-edition machine that has been created for use only on the circuit. It boasts standard features such as a fully-adjustable Ohlins suspension package composed of a 43mm upside-down front fork and a rear mono-shock, a Brembo braking system with dual 320mm discs in the front and a single disc in the rear, lightweight, forged-aluminum Marchessini wheels, a carbon-fiber half fairing and a digital instrument cluster. In the tech/engine department, it sports an air-cooled, four-stroke, 992 cc, 90-degree V-Twin powerplant paired to a six-speed manual transmission, and can produce a claimed 85 horsepower and 88 Nm of torque.
