Engine
The engine was a Liquid cooled Single cylinder, 2-stroke, Keihin carburetor PWK 38 mm.
Chassis
It came with a 90/90-21 front tire and a 140/80-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single 260 mm disc in the front and a Single 240mm disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic Marzocchi upside-down 50 mm in diameter while the rear was equipped with a Ohlins monoshock. The BBX300 was fitted with a 9.5 liters / 2.5 gal fuel tank.
