A 99.1mm bore x 99.1mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1078.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70 ZR17 front tire and a 180/55 ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 330mm discs, 4-piston caliper in the front and a single 245mm disc, 2-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 50mm Marzocchi fully-adjustable, TiN-coated, upside-down fork while the rear was equipped with a fully-adjustable mono-shock.

The 2008 MY Bimota DB6C 1080 Limited Edition has, at its heart, an air/oil-cooled, four-stroke, fuel-injected, 1078cc, 90-degree desmodromic V-Twin engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission that can produce a claimed 95 horsepower and 103 Nm of torque.

This limited edition, unlike the base model, boasts a special paint and graphic scheme, as well as gold-anodized wheels and has a special orange leather that upholsters its dual seat. In all other departments, it is identical with the base model.
