The Bimota DB8 Oronero was a v2, four-stroke Sport Bike motorcycle produced by Bimota between 2010 and 2019. It could reach a top speed of 174 mph (280 km/h). Max torque was 93.68 ft/lbs (127.0 Nm) @ 8000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 166.42 HP (124.1 KW) @ 9750 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled v2, four-stroke. A 106.0mm bore x 67.9mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1198.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a desmodromic valve control.

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the dry clutch multi disc.

It came with a 120/70-zr17 front tire and a 190/55-zr17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. monoblock, four pistons, radial pump. brembo. in the front and a single disc. 2 piston brembo calipers. in the rear. The front suspension was a ohlins 43mm preload -fully adjustable and dlc treated upside-down forks while the rear was equipped with a öhlins monoshock adjustable in preload, high and low speed of rebound and compression damping. The DB8 Oronero was fitted with a 4.76 Gallon (18.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 350.53 pounds (159.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 56.3 inches (1430 mm) long.
