The Bimota KB2 Laser was a air/oil-cooled, four-stroke, transverse four cylinder, DOHC, 2 valves per cylinder Sport Bike motorcycle produced by Bimota in 1981. Max torque was 27.29 ft/lbs (37.0 Nm) @ 8500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 65.04 HP (48.5 KW) @ 10500 RPM.

A 58.4mm bore x 58.4mm stroke result in a displacement of just 543.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/80 V16 front tire and a 150/80 V16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 280mm discs in the front and a single 210mm disc in the rear. The front suspension was a 40mm Italia adjustable telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a De Carbon adjustable mono-shock.

The 1981 MY Bimota KB2 Laser sports an air/oil-cooled, four-stroke, 543cc, transverse four cylinder powerplant that can produce a claimed 65 horsepower and 37 Nm of torque. It also comes standard with a full-fairing, a large windscreen, cast-aluminum wheels, a blacked-out exhaust system, a single seat, an analogue instrument cluster, dual front disc brakes and a suspension package composed of a De Carbon monoshock in the rear and a 40mm Italia telescopic fork in the front.
