The Cagiva Mito II was a liquid-cooled, two-stroke, single cylinder Sport Bike motorcycle produced by Cagiva between 1992 and 1993. Max torque was 14.01 ft/lbs (19.0 Nm) @ 9000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 32.99 HP (24.6 KW) @ 10500 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

A 55.9mm bore x 55.9mm stroke result in a displacement of just 124.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 7-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 110/70-17 front tire and a 150/70-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single 320mm disc, 4-piston caliper in the front and a single 230mm disc, 1-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a upside-down telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a adjustable mono-shock.

1992 Cagiva Mito II[edit | edit source]

The second version of the Cagiva Mito has received changes in both its mechanical department, as well as the visual one, to make it more appealing among young sport-bike fans. It comes with a new front fender and an upside-down fork, as opposed to the conventional one used on its previous embodiment.

At its heart lies a liquid-cooled, two-stroke, 124cc, single cylinder powerhouse paired to a seven-speed manual transmission and can produce a claimed 33 horsepower and 19 Nm of torque.
