The Cagiva SST250 was a single cylinder, two-stroke unspecified category motorcycle produced between 1979 and 1983. It could reach a top speed of 62 mph (100 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 9.79 HP (7.3 KW) @ 5500 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, two-stroke. A 72.0mm bore x 59.6mm stroke result in a displacement of just 243.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 10.6:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a port control.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 3.25-19 front tire and a 4.00-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a expanding brake in the rear. The SST250 was fitted with a 2.77 Gallon (10.50 Liters) fuel tank.
